Cover Suggestions

Just bought a 230 Select. What i'm interested in doing is finding a type of cover that would entirely close off the back 1/2 of the boat, from say the windshield back.

What i'd like to accomplish is being able to be at the slip in the marina, and on occasion, if necessary, be able to camp on the boat.

Does anything like this exist? Also, looking for a great place to view/purchase aftermarket accessories for the boat as well.

2008 230 Select. I think, from another post, the correct terminology i'm looking for is a boat camper...

They make SeaRay's canvas for your boat. They may offer the Camper package with the Bimini. Do you have any canvas at all now?

just purchased the boat so it's in storage for a couple months. it has a bimini on it, then also snap on tarping.

You'll need to verify if your bimini has zippers in it for attaching the camper pieces. Sometimes they will, sometimes not. If not, those will need to be added by a local shop.

If you get the pieces from Great Lakes, you'll need to install snaps to attach it to your current cockpit cover snaps.

If you get it made locally, they'll do that for you. Doing it locally could also provide you with better clear vinyl than OEM.

You (or a local shop) might want to fashion some type of "curtains" for privacy.

yeah, where it stands now, i'm thinking that it would almost be of benefit to find a local guy for this. i would imagine, having one custom made would give plenty of options for customization.
