Cost of slips in Boston area

Found a slip in Portsmouth on the Navy Base at a brand new marina. Requires applicant to be active duty or military retiree.

All of your comments only cement the idea that I made the right choice when I bought a house on the water.....I walk out the back door, and there is my boat! Electric included in my utility bills, dockage fees included with my mortgage payment!

That's me in Florida in a few years' time

$175 /ft where we are headed on northshore of LI and that's only for the slip use. Pool =extra elec=extra $10.50 per pump out
I have to see what Harold would change me.

There's a Town of Huntington pump out station in Huntington harbor and Northport Harbor free of charge.
Also the Town and Northport village run pump out boats for free. They're on channel 9. They will come out to sand city or lloyd harbor if you're on the hook or a mooring.

Strange that your being charged for pump out.

Our south shore marina charged $10 or $5 with fuel purchase seems their all starting to charge for all sorts of crap (pun intended)
also, didn't know about the Huntington station. Even though we live in Northport were not as familiar with boating on the Northshore yet thanks for the info..

Pump out is free in Nassau on the south shore of Long Island, and the kids always do it for me... I always tip the guys though..

When I was in fire island the Suffolk guys charged me $10 and they didn't even do it for me... Guess times are tough in Suffolk
