I’m replacing both thermostats and their housings. What is the correct temperature for the thermostat. FWC Merc 350’s

raw water cooled is usually 145 and antifreeze is 160 degrees.

I run 160 in mine - raw water cooled, fresh water lake. If you are raw water cooled in salt water - then you need the lower 140 - as you dont want the salt precipitating out at the higher 160 temp.
