Hey boys and girls. I just purchased a 300 Sundancer (2005) and could use some help. I'm new to the club so i don't know if there is a offical 300 tread.

Does anyone have a sugestion for where to store a cooler when running the boat? Besides the obvious place of down stairs. I want it to not be in the way but accessible when I have a group on the boat.

Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

TJ - In the Sport Cruiser forum there is a 300DA thread that may be of interest. Also update your signature to include your motor / drive set up and the location you boat. It becomes helpful when you ask questions.

The cooler - we use a smaller cooler that holds about 18 cans, we also have a cockpit fridge. While underway, we set our cooler so it rests against the rear bench.
If you had guests, you could place it in front of the transom door...not ideal but it places it out of the way....sort of. Congrats on your 300, they are a very solid boat.

I had a 2005 300 Sundancer without the cockpit fridge. I toyed with the idea of putting cooler where the fridge should go. I never did anything, move to a bigger boat instead.

If you remove the panel covering the spot for the fridge, there is a lot of space. It's ugly unfinished space, but lots of it. If you could finish it, a cooler would fit nicely. Or just install a fridge there.

Thanks for all the feedback here everyone. Really appericate it. Stray Cat i will see you on the 300DA tread. Thanks
