Cooking on a boat, Barbecues, recipes

Looking to add a Forum... what do you think?

I think that is a damn fine idea !!!

We haven't even launched the boat yet and I'm already thinking about steaks, salmon, pork, chicken, you-name-it

Maybe someone should report the thread :) :).... I’m not doing it.. I am always in trouble

Beer. I lean toward beer when anchored. Refuse to and never drink when boating. EVER!

Yes -- that is a smart move. I was watching a captain's tips video the other day, and he had a similar point. You go out for the day, take along your family, and maybe friends too. Let them drink and have a good time, but you save it for when you anchor or get back.

You wanna know what food I really miss? Southern BBQ, cannot get good bbq in Maryland. Crabs don’t count. Used to go to Jacksonville on business before this Black Plague. Wanna know how to tell good bbq? Seriously! If there ain’t a fat black guy cookin over the pit walk out. Ain’t joking! Some skinny white kid with tats ain’t cookin good bbq.

See I would sit down to a basket of blue crab any day over bbq. You can get bbq anywhere across the states... but only one place on the planet for blue crab ....Maryland
And Peace River Seafood in Punta Gorda FLA.
Saw the sign. Stayed for 4 or 5 hours. Left a really big tip, but had to split it across a shift change. They asked us if we were from Maryland on the way out LOL.

Just an FYI. You can get "Blue crab" many places along the Atlantic coast and the Gulf of Mexico but none hold a candle to the actual "Chesapeake Blue Crab".
