Hello :)

I'm looking for a Sea Ray 24 foot boat
I have found one that i like.

But the problem is, that i'm not sure what model the boat is!
The owner said it was from 1990. Can anyone verify this?
maybe someone knows more about the boat than me?

More info is good ;)

Btw, What is the value of such a boat?

Here is a link to the boat: http://www.finn.no/finn/boat/used/object?finnkode=39040806

Hello, and welcome. If you want to look up older Sea Ray's go to the Sea Ray site and look up Model Archives. This is the link for the archives. http://www.searay.com/Page.aspx/pageId/10532/Model-Archives.aspx

I do not think the boat you are looking at is a Sea Ray from 1990. When you first go to this site they show a few boats on the screen. I think yours may be from around 1976 to 1980.

As to value, I would say not much especially with no engine. The hull looks like it is in great condition but putting in a new engine and out drive would be expensive.

that's what I thought..

there is a motor in the boat, but it is removed. (240 HP)
it is removed because it was wood rot in the aft.

Sorry for bad English.. Google translate :D

Thanks for answers :)

Have them issue you the Hull ID #(HIN). It will tell you the year exactly. As mentioned, it's definitely not a 1990. It's around 1977-78.

Good luck on your search and you've found a great resource here for info.

Engine pulled, transom rote, misquote of the model year....sounds like you should walk away. If not, get them to pay you to free up space in their garage. At minimum, treat this as a "project" boat because there is likely many things to fix and restore.
