considering a suburban as a tow vehicle

not sure about the tires but they are going bye bye as soon as its feasable. i work for an auto service center so tires ar not going to be a problem. i still have not heard from the owner so im still looking at other options.

Another thing to keep in mind, if you go forward with this one, is to check the wheels (rims) as well. You don't want to end up with a cheap set of wheels that aren't rated properly for a 3/4 ton. FYI, stock-size tires (which I'm guessing you can look up easily) are 245/75/16 10 ply (E rating).

Good luck!

10 ply are the only way to go on a 3/4 ton truck or higher, i'v had people storm out of my shop because i wouldn't let them but the p-metric sizes

I have been searching for a decent Suburban 2003-2006 with a 6.L that is in great shape with low miles. They're tough to come by. I have a 2500HD Chev P/U now and it tows Nehalennia great, but want the extra interior space. I'm not hauling gravel.

Hey Todd my Denali is what you are looking for. 2004 1500 with low miles and 6.0 vortex. 325HP on pump gas. She gets 16 on the highway and 14 in town. When towing Old Skool I got 12 to 14 MPG depending on terrain. Factory air adjust suspension lets the truck sit level in most towing configurations.

Sorry mates she not for sale.

picked up a 96 suburban 1500 4x4 with the tow package, all it needs is the trailer light harness rewired and she's good, this thing is awsome to drive. now i see why they are called the Texas Cadillac. i would drive it every day if i could swing the gas
