Hello all,
I have just installed a new Garmin 720 and have it talking to my VHF via NMEA 0183. At least, radio displays "GPS connection OK". I want to do the same with my Raymarine ST60 Tridata. The ST60 only has SeaTalk connections. I am aware of a Raymarine e85001 interface that will convert the SeaTalk data to NMEA 0183. Also, the 720 has the ability to connect two NMEA 0183 devices so I have room for one more.
Three questions:

Three questions:
- Will the e85001 interface work
- Will the 720 use the information from the ST60?
- Is this worth it?
