Compounding hull with Presta Gel Coat compounding product

Kreole,
Would be interested in a short and long term follow up... I remember when we had our old boat that was (originally) red but gel coat faded pinkish... Would look great after a waxing, but soon the fading satarted to show through. Doesn't look like that will be the case for you, but I'm taking good notes. I have a Green Hulled 300DA now... which I'm working hard to prevent from turning mint green with fading over the next few years.

Jim, honestly it depends on what side of your boat sees the most sun. If I remember correctly, that first picture was taken while the starboard side was just starting to get done. And the previous compound / wax job was done right about a year ago. The port side was NOT THAT bad at all, just the side that sees the most sun.

I bought the Super cut, the Ultra cream, and their polish. The results are amazing. Then topped it off with Maguiars Flagship wax. Showroom!
