I am having new glass made for the bridge. It was original Eisenglass that the dealer had abused and then I used for almost 4 years. It is being replaced with Tinted 40 mm Strataglass in the back and untinted in the front. I added U-zips in the back corners. I love it!

In the two photos, they look different due to camera angle and lighting. The back piece is the old, untinted Eisenglass.

The front will have 96% Textelene velcroed inside for privacy and sun protection and football game viewing. ("Sin" protection edited to read "Sun" protection - Freudian Slip?)

Looks great John! I am getting my bridge enclosure done right now. I will call you later for more details on the glass.

OK, Kevin. In KATL until 1730. Planning Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch on "D."

I have the same glass on my camper canvas. Never roll it and be careful with it and it will last for years! How do you have it arranged to snap to the top?

Good question! Currently under discussion.

You may have saved me. I was going to roll them, but instead, came up with a way to snap them up to the ceiling. The front, side ones are still designed to roll up, but I may yet add snaps to them too.

I meant to quote you, not me.

Great! Let me know if you want to see pictures of a similar arrangement and I will take some this weekend and send to you.

Is that a smilie zip inside a smilie zip on the front panel?

Brilliant.

Yes, sort of, but that's actually not new. When the eisenglass began to show age, I replaced the front center panel and the lower level back panel. That was a couple of years ago. The smile/smile is so that I can open the top 1/2 and snap it to the top. That allows airflow without blowing in my face. The other option is to open the bottom and snap that to the ceiling. That opens up the whole front end. It has worked out very well for cruising during different seasons and different conditions.

Please do post pics here. I will learn from them as will other guys/gals as well.
