Do we have any colorado boaters out there? Who all is running at chatfield, cherry creek, or pueblo?

Chatfield, but only during the week. We avoid that place like the plague on weekends.

Glendo camping up in Wyoming is one of our favorites.

Have you gone up to Lake Turquoise in Leadville? Nice, but very cold water for water skiing.

Ken

Unfortunately I am limited to cherry creek and chatfield right now. I would love to head west but unfortunately my truck will not handle the mountains very well so I have not tried that yet. I was thinking about a trip to Wyoming or Nebraska but I hear that the large lake in Nebraska Maconahay (spelling?) does not have a ramp so tractors have to put you in off the shore. It is a bit difficult to ski behind my beast so we like to anchor and relax.

I used to jet ski on cherry creek when i lived in D-Town. That place and chat can get very crowded.

I'm moving my next week from Lake Pleasant AZ, to Lake Powell. We will be at Bull Frog until October. I was wondering if there are any CSR members planning a get away this summer? Don

don; if your still out there, we go to mead till first of may then powell, bullfrog allso till july then flaming gorge till the middle of september. then back down to powell till mid november.
this last trip down at mead we broke our drive so we'll miss powell this spring but theres a good chance we'll be back to bullfrog this fall and then skip mead and winter over at offshore marina there at bull frog.
maybe we can get together this sept.
the water in mead is low and its a PITA to get steamed and cleaned when you pull out of there. so much so we'er staying out.

My son is leaving from Phoenix - Lake Pleasent this morning with the boat - I'm planning on meeting him this afternoon out at Bull Frog. I'm anxouis to see her we just got her back from the fiber glass shop and I had the interior professionally cleaned:smt038 Its funny you mentioned Off Shore - there the reason we bought the boat. I spent 4000 last year renting wave runners - that could have been a nice down payment.

Not sure how much water time we will get - I;ve got the car packed with a new AC controller; new power supply for the fridge and 8qts of Mercurys finest - oh ya a few gallons of Golden CO's finest.

It would be nice to plan a get together with fellow CSRs on here. I saw Marine Max hosted an event last year. It was really well attended but don't see anything posted for this year. We will be in and out all summer, until Oct., so let me know when your in the area and we could meet.

Hey there, new SeaRay owner here and we live on the Western Slope in CO. We will mostly go to lakes on this side of the state. We've already experienced the new zebra mussel searching by the park rangers. Here's a tip: if it rains and your boat has some water in it even if it isn't from the lake they will turn you away at the entrance gate. Make sure it is dry before you get there. We boat at Highline, Ridgeway, Blue Mesa, and hopefully Powell.

hi zeus; we have camped at high line a couple of time on our way down country. my sons gone down to blue mesa and had a good time there to.

we never got a boat out on high line as its always been pretty busy when we were there. we'll get over to the gorge this summer but for you i couldnt see going up there when you can go to powell. in fact i think it would be closer to powell than flaming gorge.

trust me when i tell you our boat has been well inspected. with the mead and powell stickers, there all over us

Just picked up my 220 select last month. We normally go to Grandby, Shadow mtn. and grand lake on the weekends. We go to chatfield occasionally during the week.

Well looking at the posts I see this thread seems to be a bit old; however that never stopped me from joining in.
We will be doing Chatfield on week days and some weekends.
Lake Powell is in our summer plans as well, also Glendo or Guernsey in Wyoming

any one looking to be at powell or flaming gorge this summer. have a slip at bull frog for new boat and will dry store 230 at dutch john as soon as the water warms up over there

Going to Powell at the end of the month, probably around the holiday.

Once we get hauled to Offshore Marina we go down once a month until Sept then we do a 10 day trip and spend alot of our time in the Ariz end.

hi guys; got word trailer for 310 should be finished to day in salt lake.

we have never made it past dangling rope yet. we need to but we seem to start down and get distracted and dont make it.

we dry stored at off shore and liked the folks there. we still stop and get supplies, bread, milk and pop or a burger lot of the time

We were up for a week in early march and again in late april. Im not sure when we will make it back up. We really want to make it up to bull frog one of these days but it seems we always have somthing going on or meeting up with some one down here.

Garry, with the right trialer and tow vehicle, the 310 pulls just fine. The width is the biggest issue, but you will get used to it. I run straight electric brakes and an equalizer hitch, and drive carfeully. PM me and I can give you my number to share some other thoughts if you like.

know what you mean.

so much lake to see and so little time
