I mostly use mine when we are at a marina with cable. Last summer there was a crowd of about 12-15 guys sitting on the dock behind our boat watching the NASCAR race on July 4 weekend. Great way to make friends!

Nothing. I believe it's just a 1.5" hole to cut but that's it

Thanks - that's what I thought @SKybolt mentioned that he modified to work and I was wondering what he meant.

I saw that too. Wasn't sure what he meant besides maybe cutting the post down to his preferred height

Here's where I placed mine. I also added coax and electrical too. The previous owner had the tv on the port side by the sink. Bad spot for traffic and near water.. Now we have the option for either spot

That was the goal. Right next to the most useless ice bucket ever known to mankind

That is just awesome and exactly what i want to do. Do you remember how you ran the 110v and coax to that location???? Very nicely done.

Does anyone know if they (FP) sell the bases separate? It actually makes sense to have a mount and service on both sides. That way you can move the TV to suite your needs (sun, food, people, etc).

I saw one on Ebay - it was from FP but at a higher price than on their site (which make sense since they are not paying ebay.

    Some things to know.
It says 1 ½ cut opening and it’s actually a hair bigger than 1 ½. I used a big drill bit to open it up a little. Also, it doesn’t come with screws

To be honest I don't recall its exact size.. I'll be at the boat Friday so I'll throw a tape on it

Amen. And mine drains to the cockpit floor. I store cleaning supplies in it.
