Making a smaller table out of 1" Cherry with Maple .The stock table takes up some much space and is hard to get around and the only place to store it is under the motor hatch and is a pain to get out and put away when not in use. Will round off corners to make it easier to get around.

You guys do nice work. I’m terrible with woodwork so I’m jealous.

Will the table still drop down to create a lounging area? Or is that a non-factor?

That's beautiful. Really nice work! I'm also interested in upgrading our table and would like to do one myself rather than purchase. It would be far more rewarding IMO. Time do some more reading as I've never done anything like this. Thanks for sharing!

I have a wood shop so making this is pretty easy. Plus a lumber store that sells quality wood which is half the battle.I started with a board of 1.250" thick 10.5" wide board cost bout $40.The maple slates were scrapes I already had. The overall dimension is 20"x30".

I didn't like the stock sink cover in our boat & motorhome so the wood is from IKEA...

The decal was 13" across in metallic gold cost me $19.00. All you need to do is give them a call tell them how big you want it then find a image off the internet email it to them and they will make it for you.
