I have a 1985 weekender 268. I just had the cockpit cover redone. It fits well to all the snaps and to the more aft horizontal support pole. I have 2 straps that are supposed to pull in parallel between the two horizontal supports that help the ceiling remain tight. Unfortunately, I can't remember how the strap attaches to pull the cover tight. There are 2 support poles: one is visible and I can attach the strap to it, but the more aft pole is contained within the fold of the sunbrella fabric and won't allow me to wrap the strap around it to pull it snug and help the other pole to remain in place. Does anyone have the same setup that could help remind me of how the strap is set up? A picture would be great if possible. Thanks.
