I am ordering the carpeting that simulates teak with white caulk (Infinity Better Than Teak II HD) from Custom Marine Carpet. Really like those guys so far BTW.
I'm trying to decide what color Sunbrella binding to use. There isn't a real close match for the "teak" color. Instead, I think the off-white color (Sunbrella Oyster) would really look great. It's either that or the closest match to the "teak" is a relatively light tan color (Sunbrella Toast - the new lighter one, not the old darker "Toast" the boat canvas originally came in). That is a decent but not great match.
Would l be making a mistake having the binding in the off-white color? It would probably show dirt a bit more than the light tan color, but Sunbrella tends to clean up easily. The boat is always covered, so the cockpit area stays pretty clean. We don't fish or have pets, so other than normal dirt, red wine is probably the biggest threat.
Any thoughts/experience with the light color Sunbrella?
Thanks everyone.
