Hi,

I've been troubleshooting my generator in my 380 DA for a while now. Typical start and run until you let go of the "preheat (sensor bypass)" switch. All the sensors and K1/K2 relays check out.

I had a specialist come out recently and he said that the CO detectors are wired to a relay that will shut down the generator if they activate. He recommended that I replace them. I don't see this in any of the wiring diagrams for the boat... did these come wired in this way? If so, we're the heck is this relay?

Thanks.

I have a 2000 380 DA, I think the interlock with the co detectors is on newer boats than ours

when I was having the issue the same as yours, it ended up being the fuel pump going bad

Fire Boy make an engine shut down module that will shut down all your gas engines. It may have been retrofitted.

Thanks. I'm guessing if it was, then it's behind the breaker panel. Easy enough to trace.

I have a similar system, but actuates if there is a fire in the engine compartment. You might check on the firewall. Sea Ray might have installed in behind a large plastic cover where a bunch of other electrical equipment is installed.
