Cloth covered speaker grilles

Hi: Does anyone knowhow to remove the cloth covered interior speaker grilles. They are mounted next to the V berth mirror in a 02 310 DA but I see thay have been used in many applications. (I searched for this and couldn't find anything - I know some of you get upset with redundant inquiries)

Not sure if yours are exactly like mine or not. When I replaced my speakers I took a flat knife, like a butter knife and simply inserted it along the edge and worked my way around the grill frame until it simply popped out.

The grills were cloth covered woodcircles that compression fit into the hole. Hope this helps.
