I'm long out of Texas, but kept my 42' Endeavour Ctr Cockpit sloop at Waterford YC. it was a great marina. I miss the association of some really great yachtsmen in the area.
The local crusing assn. bi annual sailboat race to Veracruz is simply one of the best events I've ever partisipated in.
If you go into Waterford, you simply can't do better.

Waterford and South Shore Harbor are good Hurricane holes.

We are purchasing a 34' Sundancer and will probably be mooring it at either Southshore or Seabrook until a slip opens up at Marina del Sol. See you onn the lake soon!:smt001

You have to go to the Turtle Club, the best way is by boat. Have fun. I sure miss that area, it is a blast.

they opened up a Sam's Boat also next to Marker One Marina. I boat there occasionally but mostly on the San Jac River. Will be there on the 11th of July for the Boat Club Poker Run.

Im a clearlake Boater,,
Live off Taylor Lake... Love the area,, I just wish there were better swim holes for the kiddos. and better wakeboarding spots besides crowded creeks..

Howdy neighbor. Soon as I get the props on my Sea Ray 340 Express Cruiser, it'll be living at South Shore. Have membership at HYC but they refused to hold a slip for me. Soooo that membership will expire as soon as I splash the "Sherminator". See ya in the bay.

We live in Deer Park and boat on Clear Lake most of the time. I know exactly what you meant about crowded creeks. My son is 8 and started wakeboarding last year and I get pretty nervous taking him there to wakeboard. So, we usually go to Roseland park in Baytown when we are doing alot of watersports or San Jac during the week is good.

i live in clear Lake area, just off El Dorado and I-45. I just bought a 1991 Sea Ray 170 LTD. We plan to take it out saturday for the first time. We are going to put in on Egret bay blvd and cruse down the shore of clear lake. Probably end up at outriggers for lunch. If anyone wants to join with another boat that would be great!

I usually put in under the Kemah bridge, but have done Egret Bay also. Leaving Saturday for Double Bayou with a stop at Outriggers for lunch. Just got the boat back in last Saturday after a transom job. Glad to report the bilge pumps never came on!

I usually put in at the clear lake park on Nasa Road 1. About three weeks ago I had a good run down to Galveston and back. It's been a bit choppy lately, though.
