Cleaning Throttle Body (inside) and Plate??

Checking before I do it...To clean the Throttle Body (inside) and Plate, spray a carb cleaner (gumout) into the body while engine is running? Or is there another method that should be done.

I like to use CRC throttle body and air intake cleaner.

I suggest you don't use carb cleaner.....it is too aggressive of a solvent.....the plate has a coating on it and carb cleaner can damage this coating....use the specific cleaner for this job and get a 'throttle body cleaner'....
