Cleaning out the bilge

UPDATE: Using the hose clamp pliers i pinched off the raw water hose and then removed the blue drain plug. I was happy to see the rubber gasket was no longer there. I replaced the blue plug with a new one and a gasket, then ran the engine for some time....no more water is leaking, woohoo! Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Yea, it took about an hour with some solid brushing, spraying with water, shop vac and repeat. Turned out pretty good. I could have spent more time on it but i'm happy enough with it for now.

Very nice job. Worth the effort.
