Being a new 260 DA owner I would like to know what I should use to clean corrosion on the tank mounted fuel supply shut off valve. I just received in the mail yesterday my survey on the boat and this was one thing the surveryor recommended.

I'd use a scotchbrite pad. I wouldn't use a wire brush!

Once done spay the whole thing with a corrision preventative like CRC or something similar.

Can you also tell me exactly where the fuel supply shut off valve is? I just want to make sure I'm cleaning the right thing.

It'll be the thing that's corroded

I know I know stupid question.........but I just wanted to make sure what I was looking at when I go over this weekend.

Sorry, I couldn't resist

I'd tell you, but I have no idea where it's at.

I know Turtle I left myself open for that one. I'm just hoping for a great weekend and being out on the water.
