Clayton, NY Launch Ramps?

We're planning on doing a few weekdays (3 or 4) of boating in June at the 1000 Islands. Launching at Clayton I thought may be less crowded then the Alexander Bay area. Any recommendations are welcomed. We plan to sleep on the 270 but dine at area restaurants. My main goal is to visit a few of the castles and just sight see by boat with my wife. Thanks, Mike.

There is a launch ramp just across the road from the wooden boat museum to the west. Also worth a visit. Have fun.
