So I was blessed with a 50+ day today to get the outside lights down. As I get older and older climbing up a down the ladder all day gets to be somewhat of a chore. We still love decorating for Christmas every year and we manage to host three parties during the season. Now with Christmas over the wait for the boating season and car show season to sets in. Is it April yet????

I was just saying to my wife today how much I’m missing boating. I’m going to have to go out for some winter fishing or something soon. Vancouver boat show is first week of February. We’ve already scheduled my mother-in-Law to stay with our toddler so we can go for a whole day and enjoy/spend money. It’s the highlight of the winter.

We took a walk “in” the downtown canal today. They drained the canal so they could clean the muck off the bottom. These pictures were taken in the middle of the canal.

I have lived there for 10 years and have never seen that... When do they fill it again?

So let's take the Christmas lights and inflatable Santas off our boats. They are so wonderful during the holidays, not that cool when you are cruising in January

My 12yo granddaughter is there this weekend swimming in the 2019 MidStates All-Star Championships, I'll bet they're enjoying the sunshine.
