Chillin' at Flat Hammock Saturday, off of Fishers Island

Cruised down the CT River and headed East....took her for her first "longer" cruise since we got her. Ran like a champ for the trip out, and back. Later that night the IAC on port engine decided to act up but problem disappeared following morning. Anyways, was a great day out off of Fishers Island....wife and I enjoyed some lounging and listing to the waves gently lapping up against the hull.

All pics except last one taken from inside of Flat Hammock, right outside of West Cove..Fishers Island...pretty much directly across FI Sound from Groton Long Point on the CT shoreline.

Ran across an odd historic looking sailing vessel replica heading back to home port in Deep River, the pic was taking just as we were approaching Hamburg Cove.

Also, first summer in a long time I haven't seen lots of jellyfish out in the sound.

NICE - we were in GLP and Mystic on Sunday (no boat up here though!) Pick up a spare IAC so you have one when you need it.....WAY cheaper at the auto parts store
