Have the little buggers made there way up the Chester river yet to say, Conquest Beach (Spaniard Neck) or Corsica River?

Hey Tim, I am sitting on my boat at the fuel dock at Sailing Emporium. I can see the top of your boat from where I am sitting!

I am not sure about the Chester River, but we have seen enough of those darn things that swimming has been out of the question.

The pool here has been wonderful and the people are all very nice. We met one of your buddies, I can't remember his name, but he has a Tartan 33 and said he was a friend of yours.

Gull, that's awesome! How long are you going to be there? Sounds like you met my buddy Bill Graff on Anam Cara. The S.E. is really a great place... like a second home/family to me. I'll be down tomorrow (Thursday) PM. Hope to see you there!

P.S. Great place, but stay away from the diesel!

Tim,
As of last weekend, the Chester River in the area of Langford (Cacaway Island) and the Corsica was totally nettle free. I did however see a few in the entrance to our marina (Castle Harbor), so they are on the march up the river.

They have arrived with a vengeance in the Wye River – just ask my son. We were anchored in Shaw Bay over the 4th and he dove off the bow only to surface with one of the buggers wrapped around his leg. The only remedy we had on board was cold beer – as we were out of Adolph’s Meet Tenderizer. I told him to hold the cold beer over the sizeable welt, drink it down and repeat with additional beers until the pain was better.
