Chesapeake Bay Destinations

For those cruising the Chesapeake Bay, this can be a great resource. This interactive map is updated daily and gives you a "weather map" style reading of where sea nettles are likely and how many. Can be a great planning resource.

I didnt see anyone talk about all the nice places to eat and hang out off the Middle River. Just wanted to mention a few; Marli's- Great Food fun place, Riverwatch- Is known for their Sunday deck party, Carson's Creekside- nice place to eat drink and relax, Wild duck- Nice sandy beach cold drinks and good food service can sometimes be slow, and if you want a good breakfast Parkside Marina. Just some ideas

Can you mention what creeks they are on? Wild duck sounds good!!! Thanks.

I don't venture too far but love the upper Chesapeake. We spend all of our time at the Chesapeake Inn restaurant and the Bohemia river.

Hey, Thanks. I boat out of the Bush River and now that my boat is high and dry for an engine rebuild, I will lavish away the hours dreaming of going to these destinations.

Do your self a favor. While the guys at the marina are sweating it out, working on your boat this weekend, go get yourself a cold beer at one of those places, all are accessible by land. Actually, since your weekend plans were foiled,
it would make for a nice night out (Fri.) for you and the admiral and then you could hit the links Sat. morning.

Not really foiled. I also have a very good running new canvas 270DA 1988. Wash and wax tonight. Launching on Sat morning for a few weeks. I plan to boat sometime this weekend. I hope!!!

Thanks Techmitch for putting the locations out there. I see you have Frog Mortar as one of your locations. Your boat looks familiar to me I am right around the corner on Armstrong Creek ( by Parkside same creek as Tradewinds).
