My wife and I are down here in the Abacos checking the joint out... No kids... No dogs...

However, I'm putting up a daily trip update for the kids to follow at home. It's in my blog (the link in my signature at the bottom)...

The water here is just the wrong damn color...

I am renting a boat tomorrow or Saturday to hit up Hope Town and a couple of cays... an open bow center console no less...

I am in love:

If you've PM'd me, that's why I have not responded.

Need to stop in Boca Raton on the way home and find a boat.

Water color is unreal! Looking forward to the pics and stories that accompany them!

I just need to beat Todd and his stupid pictures he's always posting.

This was on the beach today:

(insert joke about Gary's starfish here)

Two solid days of compounding/polishing/painting/whatever...I'm just too damn tired to come up with anything better...

Gary,
Take lots of pics. We're moving the boat to Nassau this coming Winter. Would love to hear about your experience with navigating the local waters.

No boating today here... winds are really blowing over 20 knots... figures.

Guess we will just have to lay on the beach again, read a book and drink Kalik beer... sucks.

Gary, Oh man ... rent the boat and run up to Man-O War Cay The hit the sand bars on the way back, you'll bail on that North Eastern Haunt you call home and move to Florida just so you can be in the Abacos in 7 hours run time.

Oh and Kalik is one heck of a beer.

Ahhh another shitty day in paradise.

Have a blast my friend.

Looks great Gary. I can't compete this weekend, I'll be in the seat of an excavator. You're starfish looks relaxed though.....probably the Kalik

Gary,

I'm leaving West Palm this morning. I'm taking my 220SD over. Want to enjoy some open bow boating?

Why hell Gary is it one of these you're thinking about renting? Just make you a run across to Boca Raton, Florida with it and buy you some real beer. :smt043:smt043:smt043

Enjoy your trip.. but I have to ask, just what is wrong with the water color?

Gary, now this in incredibly important. You have to get up to Nippers on Guana Cay Sunday, do not miss this local hang out. Its a buffet, rock band dance, beach swim, cold pool hang out that 500 people make it to for the afternoon every Sunday except during really bad Hurricaines otherwise they are probably there.

Buy me a T-Shirt while you're there!

Look! People that rent boats do stupid stuff here also!!!

Good grief... they are heading out into a small craft advisory... hanging off the front... I'm sure Dad can back off the throttles fast enough when he falls off... really...

Nice.

i spent jan and feb there. was based in Treasure Cay and had my everglades to do the running around in.

couldnt have had a more fun time running, but the fishing wasnt that prosperous for us.

our best day was depart treasure at 1000 and we ran to Sandy Cay for snorkeling, then onto little harbor for lunch, hopetown for drink, then man o war for my guys to see. then onto marsh for dinner and junkanoo, left at 9 in the evening, wind a little blowing and onto man o war again for fishing till one am and then rtb via scotland cay and nippers and then across totreasure.

we left feb 22 with both boats and went in absolutely calm water to ft lauderdale.

what a run.

man o war was my favorite, liked ole joe albury's store and watched him make his sailing dinghys.

cant wait to go back

green turtle was good too, plus went to bakers bay.....they are in the middle of building that whole place.... check out the marina.....you talk about a marina waiting for some mega smucks to come....that be it. hit bakers bay and then go to orchid bay and do nippers for drinks but eat at the place just before you leave the street for the path to nips.

It was raining and cold here today... I'm depressed now. no more pictures of people in shorts.

........... hanging off the front... I'm sure Dad can back off the throttles fast enough when he falls off... really...

Nice.
If this is the most dangerous thing you've seen during spring break you're not looking hard enough + if Dad throws it in neutral as soon as he slides off the front, it'll just give him that fresh haircut he's looking for.
