My old Benson is on borrowed time and I am trying to get it through the summer. I am considering either a Lewmar Pro or a Good Windlass. So, I have a couple questions for those that have made the change.
1. Are you able to use the existing wiring, switches, relays etc with either one? I am hoping to change without having to rewire the whole bloody thing.
2. Beyond removing the old Benson. how hard was the installation? I found a thread link to the Lewmar, but it told me I did not have access for some reason.
Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.
