    Hi Folks,
Need some help. I have a 2008 Sun Deck 220. The woodgrain steering wheel was vandalized and I have to replace it. After not being able to find an OEM on the face of the earth, I decided to replace it with a standard 3/4" tapered shaft model. It appears that the shaft on the boat is splined (guessing 21-22 splines). I can't find any splined shaft wheels either.

A member contacted me about a beautiful SR wheel they have for sale but it's a 3/4" tapered shaft. Can I change the splined shaft to tapered? Why would SeaRay make such a dumb move - the world is 3/4" tapered - geez!

Ididntdoit is right. Grant has Marine Steering Wheels w/ Marine installation kits for 3/4" tapered hubs:
