I have a large RADAR/sat mount on the top of my boat Sea Ray 320, 07), and I would like to change out to just a RADAR mount, I never watch tv on my boat. Additionally, I want to reduce the vertical clearance on the boat as well. The image below is what I currently have installed. The other image is from my parts manual, and seems to indicate 2 other options for RADAR mounting, but I have not had any success in locating these smaller mounts online. There are quite a few out there, but few if any seem to have the mount for the anchor/nav light. A couple of options:
1) I could find a welder who could just cut the satellite mount off, and rig up a way to attach the light. Sounds kind of hack-ish.
2) swap with someone who wants the satellite mount, but currently has one of the RADAR only mounts in the second image. (And anyone who wants the sat dome, and receiver is welcome to it, circa 2006-07)
3) find online replacement with the nav/anchor light
4) replace RADAR mount and just flush mount the RADAR dome to the arch, and then mount nav/anchor light directly to arch as well.

I am definitely interested in the satellite system if it’s working or cable of working. Do you have all the parts with the boxes and wiring?

Battle wagon mounts can make you whatever you want. Also seaview has an option.

It's been a while, but I purchased a mount and light bar from Seaviewglobal.com. I can probably dig around to find the receipts of needed.

When purchased, the surveyor and I were able to power on and the tv displayed the “no card inserted” type of error/warning or similar, so that’s as far as we got. Now, whether or not a card will make it work, not sure. I doubt the cables can be removed, I am assuming I would have to find every single wire tie and snip it to get the cable run, but I’m guessing you just want the cables the box uses to plug in to power, and any other cables needed? Definitely have the box, and the dome, not sure what else is needed.

That’s something I didn’t find, a solution with the light added in. Thanks!

No boxes, no instructions, all original with the boat. And, unfortunately, PO provided no documentation for the boat.

Ok, found some of the information on what was ordered. I went with stainless instead of powder coated.
Radar Mount (2K Raymarine Dome) P/N PMA-5R-7LSS
Light Bar: P/N LTB-100-SS
Turns out, this was ordered in May 2010, so things may have changed. Hopefully this will give you a starting point. May head over to the boat later today and if so, will take a picture or two.

Battlewagon would be the first place I'd shop! They were great to work with and when the mount a bought was to tall I had no issue returning it and getting a shorter mount.

When we did our upgrade, we mounted direct to the arch with a slight wedge in the back to get the better angle. Keep boat in a boat house on a lift, so vertical c This worked well as clearance was important to get it up and totally out of the water without hitting roof. Radar works great mounted as such. Added LED Nav lights (2) to either side of dome that fold down. This has worked well for us.

Do you recall which specific wedge did you purchase and any additional equipment needed to mount? Thanks!

I had it installed by a Garmin dealer. When we tested it at first, he had it direct mounted (no rear elevation) and we couldn't see some things close by. He then raised the back to tilt it forward a little. He used 2 white starboard spacers. They were only about 3/8 inch thick. Then everything came up nicely.

Oh - And no special equipment. Just patience getting the nuts on the bolts going through the arch. We did add fender washers so would have larger surface coverage on nut side. The lights are just simple fold downs I found on line. Put 2 on there just cause it looks nicer.

You can also call Sea Ray support and check. I confirmed with them that I needed a zero degree base as the pad in the arch was built to accommodate the tilt.

Good to know, my current radar has no apparent tilt, so I am guessing if I remount it in same angle I’ll be good, or if I mount a newer dome, same thing.
