Living like here on the gulf coast is hot and having a 39 motoryacht with the enclosed helm it's difficult to keep cool. The windsheild has such an extreme angle it's like a furnace. The back of bridge area is nice and cool but as I walk towards the helm you can feel the instense heat coming off the windsheild.
I've installed solor screens on the inside of eisenglass and now I'm going to install clear ceramic window tint on the the inside of the windsheild. I keep hearing amazing performance out of this tint. I'm worried about moisture and dampness causing fogging of windows etc. I've had that problem before on this boat.
Any advice opinions?
I don't know if it's really getting hotter or I'm just getting more intolerant of the heat/humidity here in the Galveston area.

I believe that may be what I have on my boat. I was told by the PO that is it the same stuff used on sky scrapers. Although, I have not really had an opportunity to test it out, I can say on the hot days we have had, it does not get too hot inside without AC on and roof hatches open. You can PM Morgan Jane to confirm and see his review since he used it further down south.

I've seen other folks use it and they claim that it helps ... no personal experience with it though
