ceiling panel fell off

2007 240 DA, part close to the steps with plastic
clips still attached to the ceiling. how to fix it?

you could reinstall it back using existing clips and add one or two screws to secure it and install screw caps over screw heads

How are (were) the clips originally attached to the panel? With the clips still in the ceiling, this seems to be what failed. Can you pull the clips out & reattach them to the panel? That is the route I'd take.
