"Caught on a Sea Ray"- post up your fishing pictures!

Thanks, this seems like the best way to go. Striper fishing will be no problem landing on the platform as will catfish and other small fish. Sturgeon will be the tougher one that will take a little planning. I guess I will Halibut fish on a charter boat!

Guys,

When we did serious fishing with that 250, I had a live well on the s.p. to starboard, a large cooler with ice tied on the middle of the s.p., and landed fish on the port side. If they needed a gaff, they went from the water to the cooler. After they quick kicking, I'd open it and remove the hook.

Here is a striper caught off Nantucket

Never landed a striper. I was only 11 at the time we lived in Newport. I could bring in the Blues, but the striper always got away.

Here's a pic from last year, where we were out on the lake watching the sunset, and these schools of smallmouth bass were jumping all around us. I grabbed my pole, and almost as soon as my lure hit the water, got a very small, smallmouth, that I released, it was a fun fight for a minute or so. We were also enjoying the show watching the Osprey teach their young how to dive for fish, must have been 6-8 Osprey out there that night!
