CAT 3126 HEX

Now all you have to do is pull your aftercooler covers, powdercoat them and order new CAT Marine Power Decals and you'll be "shinin"!!

The decals were $20 as I recall - my CAT guys at Stowers had them in 2 days...

CARTER!!! Stop suggesting stuff!!!

But maybe next year...

Back together, shiny and (almost) new.

I read this thread, and it's still not clear to me if I will lose antifreeze when I remove the HEX end cap(s) to clean them. I am expecting to find mud, maybe impeller bits too. I think I will lose 7 gallons of antifreeze, so have some buckets ready? Seems like a lot.

Did some more reading, looks like I will lose some, drips, but only gallons if I remove/uninstall the HEX. I plan to leave it on the engine.

I took off my starboard inside cap and filled a 5-gallon bucket with antifreeze.
