Cat 3126 aftercooler question

Is there a way to install a nema boost gauge. I already have a back bone was wondering if i can add it?

Dave’s pic above shows where it will go. There is a cat specific PN for that plug with the female thread for the sensor, i hard a hard time finding it locally so I ended up driving to the cat dealer an hour away. I’ll post it in a bit

other than that you should have no issue getting it on the backbone. What sensor do you want to use?

I just picked up 2 nema pressure sensors from these guys. I've already installed their egt senors which was very easy to install. Expanded my nmea backbone to the ER so its almost plug and play.

Does anyone have the illustrated CAT service notes for aftercooler service? I saw them online once but was never able to relocate them.
Also might be great to start from scratch a thread on EGT and boost gauge install for CAT in the general deisel maintance section for reference for us less knowlegdeable guys.

i tried to do that too and it was a pain in the ass. It was easier just to set it in place and put two of the bolts in. My theory was it would help align the gasket like I used to do on my gasser exhaust manifolds but I found it more difficult
