Ok, you caught my attention. Please explain a bit to someone who has no idea what this is. Did a quick google on noflex digestor, but whats the rest for?

Some have figured out a DIY recipe to make the same stuff from readily available products.

That explained a lot. The Digestor seems to be a product unto itself. but whats the rest for? Or what product is being replicated?

OC grant or Carter Chapman will have to answer that. There was a thread last year about reverse engineering the Zaal to make it cheaper to use.

You can see my pic.... one part Sodium Carbonate, two parts Sodium Percarbonate. I bought 1lb bags to make it simple and try it...if you buy larger amounts price goes way down.
Both chemicals have different names for the same product so do a little research if you can’t find these

Ah so Grant is mixing it up like yourself, and putting it back in the Zaal containers. I've never even heard of Noflex Digestor let alone trying my own formula.

I'll have to try out the brand first. The green crap doesn't work like the blue use too. So I guess this powder is better?

If you look at the MSDS sheet for noflex that’s where we got the ingredients... I have been using Noflex for a few years now as instructed. It has been very effective .... but it’s expensive.... some people started using Tide and others using Oxy Clean.... but not the same ingredients

Yeah some quick googling turned that up, crazy. I see the required dosing would add up real quick @ $20 per bottle. I'll have to give this a try.

Glad you guys posted this.

What is the recommended amount for the black tank?

This is a tremendous savings. Thanks for posting. I swear by the stuff. When we got the boat the odor was annoying, specially during the winter layup. Have been using noflex religiously and zero odor. Have even started using this at home in the basement bathroom which is a pump.
