I'm waiting for parts to show up soon I'm looking for rims for my car. That's alot of scrap metal!!theres a dock near work that they unload and store brand new cars ,all destroyed we watched truck after truck pull out for weeks with new cars that where full of humidity.

I wonder what percent of them never got wet people just wanted to get big bucks. They were totaled no questions asked in Monouth and Ocean Conutys NJ there were 250,000 that were trucked away. One guy put his mats in lagon for two days then called Ins Co and got ck he drowe it to work for three weeks after storm.

Parts won't show up all the cars are getting sent to gershow and into the grinder they go

Okay dumb question. Why is the airport shut down?

Okay dumb question. Why is the airport shut down?

I dont know where that is but, there are closed down airports all over the place,,,that looks to be one of them.

old military airfield. at first glance it looked like national speedway. A drag strip from the good old days that closed down.

Was an old Naval Warfare Site. Believe either totally closed on looking to redevelop it. Think its a superfund site. In the warm weather
I believe on of the runways are used by a skydiving outfit.

The airpot has been shut down years ago. That is my home dropzone. (I learned to skydive there) im shocked to c that. The owner of the dz has a lease signed from riverhead for a lease for the next 7 years. He just completely renovated the hanger and purchased 2 new planes. All in all riverhead signed a double lease? If they dont have those cars ou by march 23 witch is our safety day I think all hell will break loose.im not sure of how much the lease was but I know it was over 500k a year. Hes aloud to fly all year round weather permitting so hes probably loosing tons of money not to mention contaminants on the runways (oil and antifreez as you know are very slippery) I dunno im upset seeing that. It will most likely shut us down for he summer......

Calverton Executive Airpark in Calverton, New York. :smt001

Yup that's it. Huge runway. If im not mistaken the airport is 2600 square acres with 2 of the longest runways on in ny. Its also a safety landing zone for 747's. And its full. That's crazy. Does anybody have info on how to get in on the bidding?

They'll be auctioned off online. I'll try to find that site later today. :smt024
