"Carolina Gang" June 2009 Georgetown Rondevous

Cool pictures, thanks for sharing them. The tall ships sure looked neat.

As always, when the "Carolina Gang" gets together its a Blast. The Gang grew on this trip with the addition of Greg and Tonya, and Paul an Jane.

Kes did a professinal job planning and leading this trip, with the help of "Captian Sea Ray Jay.

I was amazed at the performance of Greg's 185, that is a neat boat. It took the rough water, with no problem what so ever.

Paul it was an honor to finally meet you and Jane, I've read you'r post's on CSR from Day 1 of my joining. I don't understand how you stay so thin, with a cook around like Jane. The chocolate cake was out of this world, especially, the homeade ICEING. (janet would like the recipe)

Sadler, you taught me lots on this trip, I know now that I'm a long way from getting my "CERTIFICATE", how ever ,I also know I have a fantastic teacher. I want to see HB out of the water, I think you have "RIGGED" 2 out drives on her, the way you handle that boat is unreal.:smt038 You have given me lots of Club Sea Ray home work:smt100 We still have to work on navigational school:huh: But as long as I have a cell signal, I think we will get by.

Every one, I had a BALL. If you missed this trip, the next "Carolina Gang" Rendezvous will be worth the effort.

Oops. I forgot to mention the Exelent ICEING. That was good.
And thanks for the Awsome chicken salad sandwichs.

Nick said it right. If your in the area of the next G-Town gathering, you should go.

BTW I posted 3 links to pictures (3 posts back). One of the Light house, one of the Plantation trip, and one of soe good action shots and dock/ alligator shots.

I'm proud of you Nicky, you're going to get this CSR thing down any day now. Zeppie missed the last two links great pictures thanks for posting them.:smt038

Thanks. The gator was on Prince Creek off of the Waccamaw. Paul was receiving a bag of promotional boiled peanuts like the rest of us got on the way out to Winyah Bay Sat morning. It was a fun trip. Wish you could have made it.

Thanks to everyone who made it and helped make everything run smoothly. What a great group! It could not have happened without the teamwork. And thanks for being good sports in the EXTREME heat Sat. I am really pleased and surprised we squeezed everything in. A special thanks to Paul for the tow in Fri afternoon...thank God we didnt die! And to Nicky for being our hero mechanic. Now I need a smiley. I missed that lesson. It was a great trip with lots of good memories. Look foreward to doing it again.

Me too, but like I said in the other thread I have to take the cheap trips for now :smt089 Keep them pictures coming I'm living vicariously through them.

OMG now you have really shamed me! Sadler...HELP

Surely you jest! Kes, your photos are soooo good! Mine are snap shots. Yours are photographs. So many great close-ups, and you really caught the feel of the trip. And that gator shot! Is that the one that jumped in Nicky's boat to help with canvas?

To Sadler, Bob, Kes, Jay, Paul, Jane, Greg, and Tonya
Nicky and I enjoyed the wonderful weekend that we spent with all of you! Kes did a marvelous job with all the planning. I couldn't say what my favorite part of the trip was. It was all so much fun! The scenery we enjoyed was second to none.
This trip will stand out in our minds from now on. Thank You all for making it so special! Mike we missed your smiling face and hope you can join us again next time. Thanks again to everone. We are looking forward to a date we can get together with all of you again!
