Carilina Gang 4th july on Lake Murray

Thank you Nicky for posting. The weather cooperated with you as ya'll were having fun while some of us worked.

Did Searide (Charlie) come out to play?

Cool pictures, I'm going to have to post some pictures from our 4th boat trip. Where are the firework pictures?

Charley came out and met us on the water and lead us to a nice cove for a swim and visit.
That was my first time meeting him in person. He is in one of the pictures.

The firewoks pictures did not come out to good, it was dark. I have some from last year if you would like to see them:smt043

Ye, ours did not work either. I could not hold it steady enough (Grin)

Thanks Paul. Nice fireworks. Better than the none that I saw from inside the Grand Ole Opry Convention Center in Nashville. :smt089

How was your Nashville trip? Gaylords is nice, but Nashville is hotter than Hxxx in July. Been there done that.

Gaylords is amazing if you've never been there. The weather was very stormy on the 4th with some ferocious lightning. The only thing we did was attend the dance competitions during the day, and hit the restaurants at night, then back to the dancing in the am. I spent a lot of time on my iPhone reading Ken Williams' excellent blog about cruising his Nordhavn trawler from Seattle to Japan, traversing Alaska, The Aleutian Islands, The Bering Sea, and Siberia along the way. They're in Dutch Harbor now, where the Deadliest Catch boats unload. http://www.kensblog.com/aspx/blob2/blobpage.aspx/msgid/463430
