Cardboard boat race

A date to keep in mind. August 9th 2014 a cardboard boat race for adults and the kids at Anchors Away Marina. There is also a blind fold raft race, entertainment in the evening, and food. Transit dockage available. I will keep you up dated as the date approaches nearer also go to Anchors Away Marina Marblehead Ohio Web site to keep up dated.
This is a bit early but it makes one think of warm weather coming.

We did that about 13 yrs ago at ford marina on Grosse Ile with power squadrons,funny stuff.

I agree. Anchors Away Marina has been doing the card board boat race for 6yrs it is alot of fun

after the picnic in the evening we shot off old flares to show how they work,make sure you advise local athorities first.

Problem with the old flares there are a lot of marinas close by. Would be neat though to see.
