Looks nice, where is Captiva?

Nice pix, love that area. Not far from my FL house...

How did you like Tween' waters? I've heard good things about it, but never stayed there.

Looks nice, where is Captiva?

Captiva is a barrier island off the coast of Ft. Myers, FL. Just off the northern tip of Sanibel Island. It's a boater's paradise and the seashell capital of world.

Captiva is just north of Sanibel Island, near Ft. Myers Florida. The Tween Waters property is nice, had a good time in their lounge Saturday night. The Marina itself is small but the people nice. They have nice shower rooms in that first hotel building in the picture.

Yeah Man thanks for the Pictures, Stuck in the snow in Pa. We love the area there for boating. When there we launch out of Salt Sam's and run up to Cabbage key for lunch. Great memories!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for the pics! I've been in those waters on my buddy's 37 Silverton Conv. back a few years ago when he lived in Cape Coral. Love that area!!

OMG, they look like my pictures from last year's trip. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Very jealous!!! Makes me want to go down to my place on Sanibel... I hope you got a piece of cake at the bubble room. Had a sunset dinner at the Mad hatter... Got a window seat at the Mucky duck (ps they bring the window to you)...

Ah captiva is great. I've been going down there for 23 years now. Started at the South Seas.. (Still have that but norm rent it out we aren't too fond of the new owners)... But now we have a place at the Sanctuary.

Can you believe those houses near the hotel you stayed... man that stuff never use to be there. I miss the old days when things were small and simple... :smt089

I purchased the Boat in December in Cape Coral and am keeping on the sellers lift until I bring it back to Colorado. There are certainly some large beach homes near the tween waters. Going back down at the end of March for a week with my kidz, cant wait.

Yes, Tween Waters is great. Have been there for vacation the past 3 years. Never brought the boat though, a little too far for trailering. Went fishing every year, had great meals at Olde Captiva House and other local places. Super folks and hospitality. Studio rooms are superb with full kitchen, patio and nice size flat screen (if you need it). Fresh fish caught that afternoon was cooked for that nights dinner! Beach and sunset none will compare anywhere!! For more info go to Tweenwaters on Facebook.
