captains seat removal

Does anyone know how to remove the adjustable captains seat from a 1996 sea ray 290 sundancer? The seat is on two tracks that appear to have been screwed to the fiberglass base prior to the seat being installed.

Is there a storage compartment under the seat? If so its like most and you have to crawl in there and take off the nuts.

I can't give you exact process. But I had my entire cockpit redone in 2013. They were able to remove the seat and not remove the tracks. I think they moved the seat all the way forward and were able to remove the screws holding it to the tracks. I think if your seat is like mine and has the electric adjustment. You may need to disconnect the bracket from the seat by going in from the storage space then you can get the seat to move farther forward and get at the screws securing it to the track...

They did have to go into the storage under the seat to remove the companion seat....
