Hi all
just wanted to see if anyone has some tips on this. My boat is kept outdoors with new full camp covers and clears. After rain the trimming and canvas bleed onto fiberglass and stains( black stains). Comes off easy enough as boat is well waxed but it's annoying to clean this every week.
Any tips or hits guys???
thanks in advance.

ITs not your canvas staining. Its dirt on your canvas. Every boater deals with this every week.

I just put new canvas on the entire boat and a few weeks later the same thing. There's no stopping it. Keeping wax on the boat helps as you've found out already but there is nothing you can do to stop it from happening.

Yup - just dirt from the canvas. Washing it more often and applying protectant can help. The better the wax is, that helps with removal as you can often just use a wet towel if you get to it quick enough. Most cleaners will remove wax, so be careful with that. But, as mentioned above - very normal and it's just something we have to deal with.
