I have a 2001 420 aft cabin. I need to remove the built in
microwave to get at the 110v electrical connection that
must be behind it. Have taken off everything that I can think of
and unscrewed every screw in the vacinity. Still the microwave
remains solidly affixed. Can anyone advise how to get the
thing out of there?

On my 260, the microwave is screwed to a piece of wood, which slides on a frame. The piece of wood is held in place with two screws. These screws are accessed by opening the door on the microwave. Once removed, the entire microwave and piece of wood slide out.

It's easy to tell if your setup is the same, is there a piece of wood below your microwave, mines painted black to blend in.

Good luck.

There are two screws with finish washers under the bottom that hold it to a board the microwave is screwed to the board and it and it all slides out together.
