cannot see pictures that other people post sometimes???

sometimes when I am reading posts, if references pictures or links to videos (non-youtube) and I don't always see them in the posting. Is this something with my settings or level of participation or user error???

Example:
Getaway's post today (5/6) about fishing tournament. I can read the descriptions but I can't see the photos? This has happened to me when I was reading posts about fixing things and it references photos that I can't view???

Anybody got any advice? thanks.

Check your security settings on your computer, one or more settings may be stopping you from viewing certain content. Good Luck

If your not signed in it won't allow you to see links to pic's.

I did know about not being logged in and not being able to see the pics, but even when logged in , I can't see photos (some of the time??). Anything that is an attachment or youtube link I can view, but as in the example I shared above with Getaway's post, I don't see any photos. But sometimes if the pictures are in the post I do???

wjglampe- if that was a "test" to see a photo in your post, I cannot view any photo or link, just the work "test"?????
