Can you help ID my sea water pump - something doesn't add up

My engine is 2005 Mercruiser 5.7 Bravo Horizon MPI, serial #0w328501. I have a bronze sea water pump with a bronze cover, but my water pump cover has a replaceable SS wear plate (part number 8M2014176). The confusion comes from the fact that I don't see the wear plate listed in the Mercruiser catalog, and it is my understanding that when Mercruiser re-designed the water pump cover to incorporate a wear plate, they made the cover out of plastic, not bronze... So the question is, is there an OEM brass version with a replaceable wear plate?

In other words, my water pump housing cover looks similar to the one on the left, except mine is made from bronze. My cover is a different style as I have the air pump cylinder and air fittings, but you get the idea.

I checked the catalog once again and the only part number that I can find for my particular water pump cover is 863674A05, but I don't see any revisions or superseded part numbers.
