I have a 2015 260DA and yesterday my windlass would just spin when trying to pull up the anchor. I had to keep pressure manually on the finger until it got to chain to raise the anchor. Can the pressure lever be adjusted?

Until you get a fix - be careful with applying pressure. This is a potential "finger" eater. Use a boat hook or something if you can.

You could try messing the spring, but most times it's best to just replace the tension spring.

When's the last time you washed your line? When it gets salted up, it tends to slip in the gypsy. You might want to try that, first. It's a good idea to wash (and then use fabric softener) it once in a while.

That guy that makes a stronger spring for that unit will sell as many as he can make. Very annoying
