A while back you guys were pretty helpful with some questions i had regarding a travel trailer i had just purchased.

Well finally we got around to doing some camping.

On the AC, do you let yours run the entire time? we shut it off for the evening, but 2 hours into it we were melting and the dog was a panting mess.

Going out 3 nights for boating and camping over the weekend, and just wondering how much we can do with the AC. Plug it in when we arrive and let it hum the entire time?

Does it use the LP?

Thanks again.

If it's hot, you gotta turn it on! Everyone else will have their's on too, so it shouldn't be a problem. They don't use LP, but it would be sweet if you could run them off LP! If it cools off at some point, it should shut off based on the thermostat setting. That, or just open the windows and shut it down? Whatever works!

We run ours wide open 24/7 when camping. It's been 104 outside and a cosey 73 inside. The wife and kid always complain it's too cold in there, but it's one of the few places I can crank it down and don't worry about the power bill!

Been doing it this way for some time and haven't burnt' up a unit yet...Knock on wood.

Thanks for the help everyone. we'll be keeping it cool this weekend for sure!
