I have a sea ray 1998 sun dancer I have a Sea Ray camper enclosure but none of the support rods. None of my local canvass installers want to create the hardware
might somebody recommend what I should do with the camper top?
So, you have the actual canvas, but none of the bimini's?
I think you got a tough one there. Usually the bimini poles get made first, then the canvas. To try and make the poles fit the canvas, I think, is going to be hard. I suggest just keep calling around. Check in the phone book. Also try calling auto interior places - they would do things like convertible roofs. They're going to need to be able to bend the poles, though.
Maybe, if you're lucky, you can get just the bimini poles from the original maker of the bimini/canvas. I believe it's Great Lakes.
I was missing a rear bimni support bar on my 96 sundancer and Great Lakes had one in stock or was easily able to fabricate one. They were and I believe still are the bimni manufacturer Sea Ray. The price was around $35.
