camper enclosure

Lots and lots and lots of posts about this issue. As noted in almost every post, your best option (aside from the suggestion above - also try Westland, by the way) is to get it made for you by a local upholsterer.

How do you keep mold and mildew from growing onthe bottom side of the camper canvas? what is the best cleaner to use? I have used many recommeded products but I keep going back to bleach because it works but bad for the vinyl.

The best way is probably to not get the coated canvas (which I got on purpose, and like). The next step would be to keep it well ventilated. Instead of pure bleach, I used to use cleaning products with bleach in them. I kept the 250 top rolled up and it mildewed quite a bit. I keep the 340 top installed, and get very little mildew.

No direct bleach! Ventilation is the key. Was out last w/e in a downpour and boat never got a chance to completely dry out. w/e after i had mildew everywhere under the bimini. this is part of maintenance. i just buy the mold and mildew removers at west marine, and if used properly leave the inside spot free with some due diligence.
